A “flipped classroom” is where the teacher provides a video lesson of the content as homework, then the students come to class ready to work and practice the skills that were learned during the video lesson. When I am going to be out and have a sub, I usually leave a flipped classroom type of lesson. I will get onto google sites, create a website that embeds videos that I make or I find on Youtube.com. Then I will post pictures of notes or other items. Then I will list out the assignments that need to be completed. This allows my students to make progress with the content, even when I need to be out for the day.

There are many online math communities and forums where students can connect with one another, ask questions, and share resources and ideas. The list below are places online that students can go to ask questions for free and get help with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and other subjects. The forum will not do your homework for you but they can explain the concepts. It is a place to discuss questions with others.
